OUR STORY
LITTLE CHOS
SENDING CHURCH
PIONEERS: THAILAND

PIONEERS mobilizes teams to glorify God among unreached peoples by initiating church - planting movements in partnership with local churches.

Definitions

  • Team –a group of at least three units who are committed to each other and to a common task.
  • Church-planting movement –a dynamic and self-perpetuating process of multiplying churches.
  • Unreached peoples – an ethnolinguistic people among whom there is no viable indigenous community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize their own people without outside (cross-cultural) assistance.

Strategy

To fulfill this mission statement, PIONEERS will endeavor to:

  • Mobilize the international body of Christ.
  • Send short and long-term missionaries in partnership with local sending churches.
  • Utilize a team approach to ministry.
  • Target unreached people groups of greatest need and least opportunity.
  • Focus on cross-cultural evangelism, discipleship, and planting churches.
  • Use innovative means.

  • Work in close cooperation with others who share our evangelical position and purpose.

PIONEERS in Thailand

Currently PIONEERS has workers in the northern city of Chiang Mai. Three focus groups are involved in the work of church planting. The cell church focus group is a church-planting work targeting the urban Buddhists. The college focus group works with students. And the third focus group works to provide teachers at Grace International School where most of the children come from families serving God overseas.

There are currently no other PIONEERS workers in Bangkok, and we are officially starting a team. But it is exciting to see what the Lord is doing throughout Thailand. The harvest is very plentiful, but still the workers are very few.
